I used Google Sketchup to render some really nice and clear pictures of some of the ports you are likely to encounter if you plan to modify a DTV unit. It is very important that you have good diagrams because it is so easy to wire them up backwards. So often the pictures on the internet are difficult to determine if they are male or female. So I have tried to create both so that you will not be confused. However, be carefull when soldering from the rear of the connector, because there again the numbers are reversed.

IEC Disk Drive Connector

PS/2 Keyboard Connector

S-Video Connector

I usually buy these parts from Mouser Electronics. You can order online at www.mouser.com and I usually get everything else at Radio Shack.
